When playing Wii or Gamecube games, you typically have to plug a console into a TV and play in a stationary location. The invention of emulators, however, has created the ability to play older games through software on your computer. This allows you to play games you have purchased on a computer or laptop, rather than just a gaming system. Using Mac's Bluetooth capabilities, you can also sync your special Wiimote and play the same as if you were on a Wii.
2.Double-click the '.dmg' file. Copy the application icon to your Applications folder.
4.Sync a Wii remote to Dolphin. Click on 'Options,' then 'Wiimote Settings.' The remote settings window will appear. Click the drop-down menu next to 'Remote 1' and select 'Real Wiimote.' The other remotes should be set to 'None.' Then, click the 'Refresh' button in the window. Immediately hit buttons '1' and '2' on your Wii remote. The phrase '0 connected' should change to '1 connected' when the remote syncs. You can now play Wii games with a Wii remote.
5.Click 'File,' the 'Open,' and navigate the File Open dialogue window to the Wii or GameCube game you wish to play. Click it, and the click 'Open.'

What's up Smash Bros. I don't know if I'm allowed to ask this here, but I might as well try. I'm new to this Dolphin stuff to please bear with me~
I just started using Dolphin. I'm currently using Dolphin 4.02 x64. I was also playing around with other recent dev. versions, but right now I want to stick with stable 4.02. I have the official WiiU adapter and have been playing Melee and the 20XX pack with my GameCube controller. It works great.
Before I went to sleep, I tried to play a little more and my GC controller wasnt working anymore. I started switching the USB's around in different ports, as that solved my problem the first time. Nothing. It doesn't read my GC controller, only my keyboard.
I used something called Zadig to install the driver to get my GC controller to be recognized. That isn't working anymore either.
I tried starting over from scratch, uninstalling everything and deleting everything and starting from step 1. My GC controller just wont work anymore.
Does anyone have a fix to this? Or another solution?
Im open to downloading other versions of Dolphin. Zadig wont even install a driver anymore. How do you guys get your controllers working to play 20XX and other games on Dolphin?
Thanks!
